Rental Agreement

Please read the terms and conditions carefully. By checking the box and printing your name on the rental request you signify that you agree to them.

Please also read the unit’s instruction booklet, before you use any of the RV’s features. A copy is placed in on the table in each trailer.

Payment and Deposit:
  • A Non-refundable reservation deposit of $200 for up to 7 days ($400 for 10 days or more) is required in order to secure your rental.
  • The Non-refundable remainder is to be paid in full 3 weeks prior to your rental period.
    We reserve the right to rent out the trailer to another client if the invoice for the final balance is not paid in full 3 weeks before the rental period.
  • No refunds will be issued for early returns! You are responsible for the trailer for your entire reservation period. If you decide to leave early you must let us know as soon as possible so that we can arrange to have it picked up.
  • We require a valid credit card to be kept on file and in the event of damages or improper cleaning, you will be liable for the full amount owing.
  • You must be a minimum of 25 years of age.

Cancellation Policy:

 

In the event that you need to cancel your holiday after your final balance has been paid, we can only issue a refund if the trailer is able to be re-rented for the duration of your own reservationIn the event your Campground is evacuated, there is a travel ban or you experience a death in your immediate family (and we are unable to re-rent the trailer) you will be offered three options: to either forward your payment to a future booking within the same calendar year, change the location of delivery, or to receive a partial refund for services not rendered (i.e. Prep and Sanitation Fee and Delivery). (Please note that an evacuation alert, or excessive smoke due to a nearby wildfire do not qualify, unless we deem the area as unsafe for the delivery of your rental.) If you need to cut your visit short after your trailer has been delivered, there are no refunds or credits for your unused days, UNLESS it is because of an evacuation order, in which case you will be offered a credit for your unused days minus the Prep and Sanitation Fee and Delivery.

 We encourage our guests to look into acquiring their own trip cancellation insurance, (often available through credit cards, BCAA, or a local insurance office) as we are a small, family-run business with a very short season. Thank you so much for your understanding!

A Few More Important Details:

 
  • All RV Trailers are for delivery only, no self-towing or moving, (re-positioning) of them is allowed by you or others.
  • You are responsible to ensure the delivery site is level and appropriately sized for the trailer. If after arrival the host or other obstacle prevents us from completing delivery, it will be your responsibility to arrange an alternate site. We will do our best to accommodate but if unable to because of distance or time, this could result in your reservation being considered ‘Cancelled’.
  • The trailer must be left in the same condition that it was delivered in. Cleaning supplies are provided in each unit and improper cleaning, including of the fridge, kitchen, bath, and bedroom will result in an automatic charge of at least $75 and up to $250.
  • The Awning is your responsibility. We strongly recommend that Awnings be brought in at night or if leaving the trailer for any length of time. These are susceptible to wind and are very expensive to replace!
  • If you break something please call us immediately to let us know, all repairs require pre-authorization.
  • Damage caused by negligence or abuse will be your responsibility.
  • The black and grey-water holding tank sensors do not always read correctly due to their nature. Rest assured that we dump and rinse them before every delivery. In the event that your black tank sensor is not reading empty, you can double-check it by shining a light down the toilet.
  • To avoid late charges, the unit must be vacated or returned by 10:00 am at the end of the rental period, unless a different time has been agreed upon.
  • Late charges at $50/hr or double the daily rate may apply.
  • We are not responsible for any injuries or loss of property while you are using the rental trailer and by printing your name (signing) on the rental agreement you agree to release New Horizon RV Rentals of all liability for damage and loss or injury to you or anyone else due to the use of the rental trailer and it’s contents including the use of generators whether ours or any other.
  • Insurance for the trailer is included in the rental fee. Personal contents are not covered.
  • NO SMOKING/VAPING OF ANY KIND INSIDE THE UNIT OR WITHIN 3 METRES OF THE RV : ** A $200 cleaning charge will be applied if the unit is contaminated by smoke
  • NO PETS ALLOWED INSIDE ANY TRAILER : ** Exceptions to this rule are allowed ONLY for the 28′ Catalina Santara for smaller animals that are approved by us prior to receiving the upfront $200 rental deposit.  An extra $250 upfront PDD (Pet Damage Deposit) for possible damage or extra cleaning is required which will be refunded if the trailer is returned clean and undamaged.

Prep and Sanitation Fee Includes:

A Prep and Sanitation fee of $120 applies to all rentals up to 1 week / $150 for 2 weeks. The Exterior of the trailer is cleaned and all high touch points in the trailer are sanitized.  All beds are made with clean pillow cases and mattress protectors. 2 tanks of propane are provided for your use as well as toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, hand/dish soap, tinfoil, saran wrap, matches and a lighter. The black and grey (waste) tanks are emptied and rinsed for you when your rental is done.

Delivery, Setup & Pickup Includes:

Starting from $200 and up (depending on the distance of your site from Enderby.) This, of course, includes delivering the trailer to your favorite campsite. Power, water and sewer will be hooked up (if available), Leveling and stabilizing the trailer with the 4 corner jacks, the Slides will be extended and the Fridge+Freezer turned on. And when you’re done, you can leave the stress of hooking up and towing to us!
