Frequently Asked Questions

 What is your cancellation policy?

We require a $300/week Non-Refundable Booking Deposit in order to secure a rental request.  The remainder of the balance owing is to be paid 3 weeks prior to your delivery date. Your final payment is also Non-Refundable.

In the event that you need to cancel your holiday after your final balance has been paid, we can only issue a refund if the trailer is able to be re-rented for the duration of your own reservation. If you need to cut your visit short after your trailer has been delivered, there are no refunds or credits for your unused days, unless it is because of an evacuation order, in which case you will be offered a credit for your unused days minus the Prep and Sanitation fee and Delivery.

What if before my Vacation the Campground is Evacuated because of a Forest Fire, There are Travel Bans, or a Death in my immediate Family?

In these circumstances (granted that we are unable to re-rent the trailer) you will be offered three options: 1) to forward your payment to a future booking within the same calendar year, 2) to change the location of delivery or, 3) to be offered a partial refund for services not rendered (Prep and Sanitation Fee and the Delivery/Setup/Pickup Fee). (Please note that an evacuation alert, or excessive smoke due to a nearby wildfire do not qualify, unless we deem the area as unsafe for the delivery of your rental.

We are a small family run business with a very short season, once your booking has been received, we subsequently turn away business from other potential guests. We understand that life happens and urge you to look into private trip cancellation insurance for your own peace of mind.

Do you own your own trailers?

Yes, we own all of our own trailers. This means that they are meticulously cleaned and maintained as we have a vested interest in them. It also allows us to provide a consistent level of service whether you rent the smallest or largest unit. When not in use by you, they are parked in a secured private storage lot.

Can I self-tow any of your trailers?

Unfortunately, none of our trailers are available for self-towing at this time.

Do you allow pets in your trailers?

Yes, we do allow small dogs, but ONLY  ones that are approved by us prior to receiving the upfront $300 rental deposit and only in certain trailers. It is your responsibility to clean up after your pet including any pet-hair.  If evidence is found that a pet was in your trailer without our prior approval you can be charged up to $250.

What do I need to take along?

You will need to bring your clothes, towels, food, drink and blankets. The trailers come fully equipped from pots and pans to an outside camp stove. (Each trailer page has a button labeled “inventory list” that details everything that is included in the trailer.)

 How can payment be made?

A $300 non-refundable deposit is required (preferably by e-transfer) at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The balance owing must be paid 3 weeks before the start of your trip. (This payment can be made by e-transfer, VISA, Master card, or any other major credit card.)

Do you deliver and set up the trailer?

Yes we do, to campgrounds and private residences almost anywhere in the Okanagan and Shuswap, the charge depends on the distance from Enderby, BC. Delivery Setup and Pickup starts at $200 for local (Quilakwa and Riverside Campground, Whispering Pines) $250 for up to 30 mins away (Salmon Arm, Vernon, Shylynn Ranch) $330 for up to 1 hour (Lake Country/Winfield, etc.) $440 for up to 1.5 hours away and $550 for up to 2 hours (Penticton). We do deliver farther but only if our schedule allows.

Do I need to be present when the trailer is Delivered or when it is Picked-up?

There is no need to stress about having to be there when we deliver and set-up. We will give you a call on the day of delivery with your trailer’s ETA and a few other details. The key will be left in a safe place and the trailer will be ready for you to relax in when you get there! We will leave a manual on the table and if you have any questions, you can just give us a call. Or if you prefer, we can arrange to be there to go through the trailer and its features with you. And at the end of your stay, after packing up and returning the trailer to it’s delivered condition, just leave us the key and the stress of towing to us!

What time can I expect my trailer to be delivered and when will it be picked-up?

Our average delivery times are between 2-4pm, taking your campground check-in time and our schedule into consideration. As for pickup, please be ready for our arrival at 10am, as we do need time to prepare the trailer for travel prior to your campground checkout time. You can request an early drop-off, or later pick-up for an extra charge equal to a half nights rental, and if we can, we will accommodate it.

 Are your trailers insured?

Yes, they are insured for rental purposes through ICBC which covers liability, fire, or damage caused by falling trees, etc. However, it does not cover damage caused by YOU the renter. We therefore require a valid credit card number on file as you will be responsible for any damage incurred that is not covered by ICBC.

Does the trailer have air conditioning?

Yes, ALL of our trailers have air conditioning, however, you must be hooked up to 30 Amp power in order for them to work. Alternatively, you can rent one of our super quiet generator sets. Please note, as a rule of thumb an RV air conditioner can only accomplish a 10-degree C difference between inside and outside temperature. If the thermostat is set too low the unit will ‘freeze up’ and may become inoperable.
